Biography

Greg Nussbickel is a Fort Myers attorney whose practice is limited to estate planning and probate and trust administration. He has been in practice in Florida since 2002, founded The Nussbickel Law Firm, P.A. in 2007, and handles every client matter personally.

Greg earned his J.D. cum laude from the Florida State University College of Law and an LL.M. in Real Estate from the University of Miami School of Law. That real estate training shows up daily in the homestead, deed, and title issues that drive so many Florida estates. He began his career at Roetzel & Andress after a legal externship at the Supreme Court of Florida, later taught legal studies as an adjunct professor, and spent eight years as a staff attorney with Florida Rural Legal Services.

He teaches and writes for other professionals as well as for clients. He has presented continuing-education programs for the National Business Institute, including "Trusts in Florida From A to Z" (2025), and will present "AI Fundamentals for Estate Planning Paralegals" for NBI's Institute for Paralegal Education on November 3, 2026. He is a contributing author to NBI's Estate Planning Playbook (2025) and the author of "Durable Power of Attorney" (LexisNexis, 2018). He writes or reviews every article on this site.

He holds an AV Preeminent rating (2026) from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating that organization confers, and an Avvo Rating of 10.0 ("Superb") from Avvo (2026), the highest rating on that organization's 1–10 scale.
